The Big Shift returned for a third year on October 12 in support of our Women’s Subscription Enterprise (WSE).
Coinciding with Anti-Poverty Week, the event aimed to raise awareness of our WSE, which provides safe and meaningful employment to women as dispatch assistants, sorting and packing subscription copies of The Big Issue.
More than 150 guests rolled up their sleeves and pack magazines alongside the women, hearing first hand about the life-changing power of this enterprise.
An enormous thank you to all who made this event possible, with special mentions to our event partner Macquarie, Lt General David Morrison, Lisa Wilkinson and the WSE employees who shared their stories.

And to quote David Morrison, "The behaviour you walk past is the behaviour you condone."
