Quick Fix: Fun Bun

Dear Quick Fix,

My wife will be participating in a half-marathon fun run next week, to raise money for a wonderful and worthy charity. She has been training hard for six months and has already raised more than $1000. I am so proud of her. It’s customary for supporters to stand by the sidelines holding cups of water for thirsty runners to snatch and guzzle as they go past. But I want to go one step further with this gesture and hold out something extra special for my wife. It’ll be my little way of showing how proud I am of all her achievements. What would you recommend? Proud Spouse

Dear Proud Spouse,

It’s a special occasion, so I would go with a dozen Royal Doulton porcelain Bunnykins figurines. They are adorable, highly collectible and probably a lot of fun to play with while jogging. Best of all, your wife will enjoy arranging her Bunnykins figurines in an obscene tableau on your mantelpiece when she gets home from her half-marathon. Obviously, if she drops them while jogging, you should steal the money she’s raised for charity and spend it on a divorce lawyer. And if you can’t afford the figurines, go with a sea-monkey kit (cool!) or
a fish taco (yum). Quick Fix
