The Big Issue 2017 Fiction Edition

Want to journey from a haunted circus in Louisiana, to an abandoned petrol station in regional Australia, to a mansion in Los Angeles and back again? Well, with The Big Issue’s 13th annual Fiction Edition you're in luck!

This year we had a record number of submissions, meaning we have a whopping 14 short stories in an edition with 20 extra pages and a special hard cover.

We have stories from some of the best in the biz, including Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist), Matthew Reilly, Elliot Perlman and Toni Jordan, all accompanied by the heartfelt, colourful illustrations of Daniel Gray-Barnett. Cancel your plans, you’ve got some reading to do!

Also in this issue...

Tukuf from Melbourne shares his story in this edition’s Vendor Profile. Plus we have Streetsheet contributions by Alfred L from Brisbane; AnneMarie from Sydney; Kerry Anne from Adelaide; and travel pics and a story by Rob from Melbourne about his recent trip to Japan.
